Monkey Wheelchair

Scientist at Duke University have made a wireless brain-machine interface (BMI) that allows monkeys to move the wheelchair with the thoughts. The BMI implant lets the monkey control the wheelchair with high-quality signals. The team of scientist started their experiments in 2012. Two monkeys had a BMI implant and they started moving the wheelchairs in a straight line. The BMI sent signals to a computer and then it sends it to the motor so it can control the motors. The scientist have been keeping their data and recordings of the monkeys for 7 years now.

Robot Drummer Arm

Today blog is about a professor named Gil Weinberg a robot arm for a drummer who got his arm amputated. Hes was thinking about the next step so he decided to create a robot arm so a drummer can have a third arm. The arm can adapt to whatever your doing and do its own thing. The arm knows what your playing and where your arms are and even crazier knows where your drums are. It can do everything just by hearing the beat and the rhythm. The robot arm follows your every move and its the next big thing in technology. The third arm help the drummer make more noise and makes everything more louder.

Today I learned that a Drone was created by Swiss researchers to follow trails. The drone has a chip inside of it that shows the drone images and makes him follow the the trail. This drone can help find lost people and its faster then a human researcher. the drone has four propellers so it would be easy and can mover faster. A lot of people get lost on the trail so they came up with these drones to help rescue people. These drones are pretty cool like this change the world. When the drone finds the lost people it sends the coordinates to the rangers.
